Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your access to Acadia Parish Released Inmates. Using the site means that you accept them. If you do not agree with these conditions, do not continue to browse or use the site's tools.

This privately owned site has no affiliation with any government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or other FCRA-covered services. We are not private investigators or a consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Website

Acadia Parish Released Inmates is a private reference service with no official role in Louisiana government. It does not keep official records and cannot confirm custody, order a release, post bond, or file a document with an agency or court.

The site points readers toward Acadia Parish jail and release-record resources, Louisiana custody and supervision systems, and independent research tools. The office or provider that controls each destination remains responsible for its own information and service.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use the site and any information reached through it in a lawful, respectful manner. In particular, you must not:

  • Use the site while violating any applicable law.
  • Use information to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass another person.
  • Rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions.
  • Try to enter any system, account, or restricted area without authorization.
  • Deploy bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools.
  • Interfere with the site's operation or another visitor's access.

No Consumer Reports

Acadia Parish Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not supply background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners. You agree not to use site content or linked-tool results for:

  • Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision.
  • Housing applications or tenant screening.
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing.
  • Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility.
  • Any other decision governed by the FCRA.

Independent Websites and Tools

Links may lead to sheriff or corrections websites, release-record portals, legal resources, and outside search services. A link does not mean that we endorse the destination. We do not control its content, data practices, availability, or terms, which you should review before using that service.

Service Provided As Is

The site, its text, and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that:

  • Information will always be accurate, complete, or current.
  • The site will operate without interruption.
  • The service will be free from errors, defects, or security weaknesses.
  • An independent search provider will return a complete result.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Acadia Parish Sheriff, DPS&C, a court, or another public agency.

If One Term Fails

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay effective. The affected provision will be narrowed or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
